Restoring the CPE database

Here's how to restore the CPE database to a previously backed-up version. The Service
Node stores the last five versions that have been backed up.
1. Open the Customer Support interface.
2. On the SVR3000 tab, click "Restore System from SN Backup."
3. Enter the handshake password in the password box and click Go. This opens the Restore
System From SN Backup page.
4. In the list of database backup versions, select the database version that you would like to
install on the new Services Router. The database includes all settings configured through
the CPE Administration Editor.
5. Click to immediately install the selected backup version on the new Services
Router. Your system will reset which may affect your applications and services.

Resetting the Services Router to Factory Defaults

To avoid upsetting the network, you should perform this procedure with caution. Read the
following warnings before attempting to restore the Services Router to factory defaults.

more recent than the back up settings,
your current settings will be lost.
NOTE: The Restore System from SN
Backup page does not open in a new
window. Therefore, you'll need to click
the Back button in your browser window
to return to the SVR3000 tab.
