Using The Kick Starter (Mxu 150/50) - KYMCO MXU 150 Owner's Manual

To start the engine without the electric starter
(MXU 250):
1. Follow steps 1 through 6.
2. With the throttle closed turning starter grip
counterclockwise to unlock and grasp the
starter grip firmly, then pull it out slowly until it
seats lightly.
3. Pull the grip up briskly and fully.
4. After the engine starts, allow the starter grip to
return slowly and turning it clockwise to lock.
NOTE:
Do not allow water enter the V-belt
compartment, a lways lock the recoil starter
5. Follow steps 8 through 10.

Using the kick starter (MXU 150/50)

The kick starter is used to start the engine when
the battery is low.
