Troubleshooting chart

1. Fuel
No fuel.
Check if there is
fuel in the fuel
Some fuel.
tank.
There is fuel.
Engine turns
2. Battery
over slowly.
Use electric
starter.
Engine turns
over quickly.
3. Ignition
Wet
Remove plug and
check electrode.
Dry
4. Compression
Use electric starter
No compression.
to see if there is
compression.
There is compression.
Supply fuel.
Turn the fuel
valve to "RES".
Turn the fuel
valve to "OFF".
Check fluid, recharge, check connections.
Battery good.
Wipe clean with dry
cloth.
Attach plug cap and
ground to chassis.
Ask a KYMCO dealer to inspect.
Compression normal.
Water or dirt
mixed in fuel.
Turn the fuel
valve to
Restart engine.
Remove the fuel
hose from the
fuel valve.
Ask a KYMCO dealer to inspect.
No spark.
Use electric
Spark weak.
starter.
Spark good.

Clean filter element
and fuel tank.
Check fuel flow.
No fuel.
Fuel valve
Clean fuel valve.
Adjust plug gap or
replace plug.
