If Macromedia Contribute is not already installed on your computer, you need to install it. Before
you install it, be sure that your computer meets the minimum setup requirements.
Before you can use Macromedia Contribute to edit and update your website content, you must
create a connection to the website—actually, to the web server that stores your website. By
creating a connection, you enable Contribute to access the web pages on your website, and you
can then edit pages and publish any changes you make.
In most cases, your Contribute administrator sets up Contribute for you or provides the
information you need to connect to your website. Your Contribute administrator is the first
person to contact if you have questions about connecting to your website.
