Turn the power off.

Set the ADF selector to the "Multiple
sheet paper"

Using your hand, pull the front door
release towards you.
≥ The front door now opens slowly.

Using your fingers, open the retard
roller cover.

Remove the retard roller module in the
direction of the arrow.
