Bank 8: the Pitch Change and
Doppler Programs
The Pitch Change program is a true stereo
pitch shifter which displays pitch change in
musical intervals. It can also operate as two
independent mono programs in each chan-
nel. In addition, a delay line with indepen-
dent feedback paths is available to create
useful effects. Pitch parameters can be
quickly linked to MIDI Note values; a mirror
feature is also provided.
The Doppler program realistically separates
the sound of a large object passing at high
speed past a stationary listener. It is de-
signed primarily for use in film and video
post-production environments.
