• ip proto <protocol> : true if the packet is an ip packet
of protocol type <protocol> , where <protocol> is
"icmp", "udp", or "tcp."
• ether broadcast : true if the packet is an ethernet
broadcast packet.
• ip broadcast : true if the packet is an IP broadcast packet
Displays the route that packets travel to the network host.
traceroute [<ipaddr> | <hostname>]
where:
• hostname is the name of the network host
• ipaddr is the network host's IP address
