1. There is no video output or video flickering after I connect the transmi er and
the receiver to the Ethernet switch. What should I do?
Check if you have toggled the DIP Switch in receiver to the same positions as it in transmi er. After that, please re-power
TX and RX for DIP switch changes to take e ect.
Try connecting the transmi er to the receiver directly, without using the Ethernet switch. Then check if the problem is
solved.
If direct connection works, then try connecting the transmi er and the receiver to a same Gigabit Ethernet switch.
Check if it still works. If it doesn't work, it proves that the processing capacity of the Ethernet switch cannot reach
Gigabit. In this situation, please use other Gigabit Ethernet switch model with more powerful processing capability.
2. There is still no video output after I connect the transmi er to the receiver
directly via a Cat cable. What should I do?
Check if you have toggled the DIP Switch in receiver to the same positions as it in transmi er. After that, please re-power
TX and RX for DIP switch changes to take e ect.
Check if the "Power" LED indicators on the transmi er and the receiver are solid on.
Check if the "Link" LED indicators on the transmi er and the receiver are solid on. If not, try using a new Cat cable.
Set the source resolution to 4K@30Hz or 1080P to check if it helps.
Try connecting the source to the display device directly, without using the KVM extender. Then check if there is any
video output.
3. After the KVM extender is connected to my home network, the network speed
drops significantly. What should I do?
When the KVM extender works with your Ethernet switch, Gigabit bandwidth is required for the end-to-end data trans-
mission.
It is recommended to separate the KVM extender's local area network from your home network, otherwise they will a ect
each other, causing the network speed to slow down or causing the source video to flicker.
4. HDMI video can work, but USB connection is not working. What should I do?
Check if you have connected the transmi er to your PC via a USB cable.
Try connecting the USB cable to another USB port on your PC.
Try plugging in your USB devices if they have an independent power supply. Check if the USB devices are compliant with
USB 2.0 specification.
Try connecting the USB devices to the PC directly without using the KVM extender. Then check if the USB connection
works.
