Cisco Catalyst 4500-E Series modular switches enable a high performance, mobile, and secure user experience.
The Catalyst 4500-E Series is Cisco's lead access and collapsed access/aggregation platform for Borderless
Networks. Offering up to 848 Gbps in switching capacity and 250 Mpps in throughput, Catalyst 4500 E-series
switches are optimized for unified communication with high density POE and POE+, embedded security with Cisco
TrustSec and enable maximum uptime for voice, video and critical applications with services like Stateful Switchover,
non-stop Forwarding, and In-service software upgrades.
