3 Attach one end of the SCSI cable to one of the connectors on the back of the tape drive

4 Attach the other end of the SCSI cable to your computer's external SCSI connector.

(it does not matter which connector you use). Press the clips on the sides of the
connector as you attach it, then release the clips, making sure that the cable is securely
attached.
