Configuring the Printer
Description
Duplex printing enables you to print on both sides of
the media. Choices are
Off: Prints simplex pages.
Short edge: Prints duplex pages so pages can be
bound at the short edge.
Long edge: Prints duplex pages so pages can be
bound at the long edge.
Choices: Off, Short edge, Long edge
Default: Off
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
MENU PAPER MENU/DUPLEX
A duplex unit must be installed to use the
duplex feature.
Identifies the page orientation that the printer should
use. Choices are
Portrait: Vertical orientation (longest side of
media vertical)
Landscape: Horizontal orientation (longest side
of media horizontal)
Choices: Portrait, Landscape
Default: Portrait
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
MENU PAPER MENU/ORIENTATION
When this feature is enabled (On), following the
clearing of a media jam the printer reprints any
pages that did not progress to the output bin when
the media jam occurred.
Choices: Off, On
Default: On
