5. Installation » Before starting installation, it is necessary to define the height at which the sensor will be positio- ned, which can vary from 2.0 to 2.8 m; » The sensor must be installed on a flat, fixed and vibration-free surface; ...
5.1. Installation using the articulator Attention: installing the sensor at an angle to the ground may compromise the performance of the PET function. » Use the fixing holes located on the base to fix the articulator; » The recommended screw for fixing articulators to the product is M3 × 20 mm. Installing the articulator on the wall 1.
Use the fixing holes located on the base to fix the XSA 1000 articulator. For more information about the XSA 1000 articulator, consult the user manual on the website: www.intelbras.com.br The recommended screw for fixing articulators to the product is 3.5 × 9.5 mm.
After inserting the battery, the sensor goes into stabilization mode and the LED flashes for approximately 60 seconds. When stabilization is complete, the LED stops blinking. 8. IVP 5000 SMART LD sensor registration To register the sensor, check the procedure in the manual for the alarm center used and trigger a trip by moving in front of the sensor or pressing the PROG button located on the sensor board.
Note: if the alarm control unit used is Intelbras, put it in test mode, this way it will not be necessary to observe the LED, as the control unit will indicate the sensor’s operation through siren beeps. For more...
11. Sensor configuration After the sensor is properly installed, make the adjustments according to the information below: 11.1. Sensitivity adjustment The sensor has a selector switch for sensitivity adjustment, where it is possible to adjust between 3 detection levels. » 1P – Maximum sensitivity for movement detection. Recommended for use in controlled environments and for greater crawl detection efficiency.
11.2. Supervisory adjustment The IVP 5000 SMART LD sensor allows you to select between supervised (FSK) and unsupervised (OOK) modes. To switch between supervision modes press and hold the PROG button for approxi- mately 5 seconds until the LED flashes twice. When the LED flashes blue, it has changed to supervi- sed mode (FSK), when the LED flashes red, it has changed to unsupervised mode (OOK).
11.3. Operation mode After the stabilization period, the sensor operates in test mode for 15 minutes. During this period, any movement detected, the LED lights up and a trigger is generated. This period is used to make all sensor positioning adjustments. After the test mode, the sensor goes into economical operating mode, so that when it detects movement it lights up the LED, triggers it and goes into hibernation, remaining for a period that can last from 30 seconds (in an environment with little movement) until 2 minutes (very busy...
12. Tamper Function This function sends a tamper trigger to the control unit, if the sensor is tampered with via its front cover. This function can be enabled when the sensor is configured to operate in supervised mode (FSK). For this function to work, the zones must be configured to identify the Tamper. The moment the sensor is opened, the zone will be open and the Tamper event will be generated.
13. Low battery sensor The IVP 5000 SMART LD sensor measures the battery level and, if it is critical, sends the information to the alarm center during triggering. Furthermore, the sensor also signals through the LED, after each activation of the sensor the LED lights up (as normal) and then flashes indicating low battery.
7. Intelbras is not responsible for the installation of this product, and also for any attempted fraud and/or sabotage of its products. Keep software and applications updates up to date, if applicable, as well as the required network protections to protect against intrusions (hackers).
