4. Sensor opening To access the XAS 8000 board for registration, battery replacement or to unregister it from the control unit, simply open the lock with the help of a screwdriver and remove its base. This way the board will be exposed and ready for handling.
Remove the plate, then insert the battery (model CR2450), respecting the polarity. 5. Enrolling the XAS 8000 sensor The sensor registration can be performed through the AMT 8000 Desktop Programmer software, remote AMT mobile application, keyboard commands and synchronization button on the alarm center.

Important: check that the GAP distance (distance between the sensor and the magnet) is within the specified range, to avoid unwanted triggering if any vibration occurs in the structure in which the sensor is installed. Maximum GAP: 20 mm ±15%. To close the sensor and the magnet, simply fit the locks and then press the other side for complete closure.
8. Configuring the XAS 8000 sensor The adjustment of sensor settings can be done in two ways, below we present the step by step of each one. 8.1.
