How to wake up the T598

This procedure must be done with a Windows PC.

1. First, download and install the driver below.

   When installing the driver, if you already have the My Thrustmaster Panel installed on your computer, you will be asked if you want to uninstall the driver (which is an older version). Select "YES", and let the driver be uninstalled.
   
   Below you will see the window asking to confirm uninstallation of the driver.
   Once it has been uninstalled, you will have to INSTALL the new version that you just downloaded. To do this, double click again on the driver file.
   
2. Once the driver has been installed, power OFF your base by pressing the ON/OFF button on the base of the base (released position):
   
3. Then, press and HOLD buttons L3 and SETTINGS simultaneously and power ON your base by pressing the ON/OFF button on the back of the base (pressed position):
   
4. The BOOT mode is correctly activated if no LED is lighting.
   
5. Then, open the Firmware Updater. You can open it either by searching "Firmware Updater" in the Windows toolbar:
   
   Or by following the file path below
   C:\Program Files\Guillemot\tmfwupdater
   
6. Your T598 appears in the Firmware Updater in "[BOOT]" mode, exactly as displayed below:
   
   Click on "OK" to start the update, then follow the steps on screen.
7. The T598 update proceeds. Once the final check is checked, you can click on "OK":
   
8. You will be put back to the main window of the updater, which will now look as below.
   
   You can now leave the updater by clicking on the cross at the top right corner.
9. Your T598 is now up-to-date and properly recognized again.
