INTRODUCTION

This product is a front inside and inside 3-channel dash cam that offers a 150° front camera, a 160° inside camera, and a 155° rear camera. it can simultaneously monitor the front rear and interior of your vehicle and provides a top 4K 2160P resolution front camera, 1080P inside camera, and a 1080P rear camera, protecting you from potential accidents and liability issues. When the rear camera is inserted, the cam will turn to triple channel recording mode automatically. The rear cam is easily 360° adjustable with a 20ft ext extension cable, and it works well for cars. SUVs, jeeps, and trucks.
In addition to ultra-high definition, i17 dash cam also has other smart features to provide customers with elegant and convenient services. It has built-in GPS, built-in WIFI, free APP, split-screen display, DST switch, builtin G-Sensor, emergency recording, audio recording, loop recording, parking monitoring, Screensaver mode, and is very easy to use.

NOTE: When inserting the rear camera cable, please insert it firmly to ensure that the circuit is unobstructed, so that the rear camera can detect.

About the Micro SD Card

• When using a new Micro SD card, be sure to format it.
• Do not remove or insert a Micro SD card while the power is on.
• Use a Micro SD card with Class 10 or higher (32GB-512GB). 64GB card is included in package.
• It is recommended to format the micro SD card regularly. Recommend: Once a month.
• This product will check the Micro SD card at startup and will announce if it is not inserted or damaged, that can prevent missed shots.

Installation
When you use the dash cam for the first time, the dash cam comes with factory default settings and you do not need to set it manually.
NOTE:

• Format SD before using! Please refer for SD card settings.

How to install the main body

1. Installation Position-Please find the most suitable place to record the picture you want(such as the back seat) with the In-Car camera.
   Note: Front-Cam and In-Car Cam can be rotated to adjust the angle of the picture.
   
2. Make sure to clean your windshield from the dust particles and attach the electrostatic sticker to the windshield.
   
3. Peel off the tape attached to the GPS built-in bracket and attach it on the electrostatic sticker.
   

About electrostatic Sticker

• Since the adhesive strength is strong on both sides and it is difficult to peel off once it is pasted, it will be troublesome if it is pasted in the wrong place. Therefore, we design the electrostatic sticker to attached to the windshield first, then stick the bracket with Adhesive on the electrostatic sticker. You can easily readjust by sticking the Adhesive on electrostatic sticker and peel it off.
• To strengthen the fixing force, do not attach the unit and leave it for 24 hours or more.
• Resticking may weaken the adhesive strength of the tape and cause it to fall off.

4. Use the power cord to connect the Type-C port of the product to the car's cigarette lighter socket.
   

• Please ensure that you connect the cigar plug cord connector in the correct orientation. Connecting it in the wrong direction may result in malfunction or damage to the device. If you encounter any difficulty in connecting it successfully, please check the connection part carefully before attempting to connect it again.
• To avoid any potential issues with the device, please only use WOLFBOX's Car Charger. Using any other charger may result in frequent reboots or LCD flickering due to insufficient power.

How to install the rear camera

• In the package is the in-car rear camera which is mounted on the car rear windshield.

1. Fix camera with adhesive
   Find a best location, tear off the adhesive on the rear camera, fix the rear camera on car rear windshield.(The rear camera can be rotated 360°.For easier installation, please find the correct position first, and then adjust the rear camera angle before fixing it.)
   
2. Connect the rear cameras power cable to the connection cord. After installing your rear camera's connection cable, connect the power cable to rear camera's connection cord.
3. Route your rear camera's power cable to the front of the car. If you'd like, use a trim removal tool to pop out the headlining panel directly above your windshield. Then, run your cable through the exposed chamber.
   
4. Power on the dash cam with box included car charger, don't charge it with your own chargers.
   

NOTE:

• Make sure to remove the Plastic Lens Screen Protector from the lens before recording videos, otherwise your videos will look blurry and blocked.
• If you find that the rear image is reversed or mirrored after installing the rear camera, there is no need to re-install it, please find "Rear Mirror" and "Rear Flip(180°)" in the menu to adjust the image correctly.

Power ON/OFF
<Power ON>

• "When the cigar power adapter is connected and the engine is turned on (ACC on), the power will automatically turn on and the opening screen will be displayed."
• Press and hold the power button to turn off the power during startup, and then briefly press the power button again to turn on the power of the unit and display the opening screen.

Micro SD card check function
This product will check the Micro SD card at startup and will announce if it is not inserted or damaged, that can prevent missed shots.

<Power off>

• When the engine is turned off, so is the camera.
• If you press and hold the power button while the power is on, the power of this unit will be turned off.

NOTE:

• Please confirm whether your cigar power port is ACC. (if the cigarette lighter is still charged after the car is turned off, please use the hardwire kit or unplug the car charger after the car is turned off, otherwise it may exhaust your car's power supply. ) (Note: This happens in some Ford/Audi cars, and electric cars).

Menu Settings
After turning on, please press the button to enter the Menu.

NOTE: The ''Parking Monitor'' function requires the installation of a Hardwire Kit for normal display and use.

Resolution

• Choose the resolution according to the needs
  * Front: 4K + Inside: 1080P + Rear: 1080P
  * Front: 2.5K + Inside: 1080P + Rear: 1080P
  

Loop Record

• Choose the recording duration for your videos.
  

Q: Why is every video recording so short?
A: We set the recording interval of each video to 1min/3min/5min. This is for the convenience of finding the locked video later. The main function of the recorder is to record, especially to record emergency video. If each video is too long and the G-Sensor triggers emergency recording when a collision occurs, the video will be locked and cannot be covered by the loop recording, and customers will be difficult to find the video in the subsequent search. You need slide the longer progress bar to find this locked video. And the capacity of the Micro SD card is limited, if the locked video is too long, the normal video capacity that can be stored will decrease.

• If you want to use it as a review mirror, please turn on the screen saver.

NOTE: The ''Inside Image Switch'' function must be turned on to use the internal camera normally. [It is turned on by default after receiving it. If you don't want to use it, you can choose to turn it off]

G-sensor

• Adjust the sensitivity of G-sensor, which is recommended to adjust to Low.
  After turning on the G-Sensor, the dash cam will lock the video when it detects bumps while driving.
  

NOTE:

• Recommended to adjust to Medium/Low

Parking Monitor

• Avaliable when the hardwire kit is connected. Hardwire kit for parking mode is not included in the package and need to be purchased separately.
  

Mode 1: Time-Lapse Video: 12H/24H
Turn on "12H Time-lapse Video" or "24H Time-lapse Video", After the car engine is off, the camera will turn off automatically, and prompt "Disconnect ACC, time-lapse Video begins" on the screen. Dash cam It will record the video in the parking state at a frame rate of 1fps until the set time or the car voltage is lower than 11.8V.

Mode 2: G-Trigger Recording
Turn on "G-Trigger Recording". After the car engine is off, the camera will turn off automatically, and prompt " Disconnect ACC, trigger recording begins " on the screen. The camera will turn on and start recording automatically when there's collision or vibration detected and the video file will be locked.

Front/Inside/Rear Video
Front video name ends with F, In-car video name ends with I; Rear video name ends with R.
You can scroll up or down to select a video to play, or you can delete a video.

Play on APP(About WIFI and APP)
"The WiFi feature has been designed to allow you to wirelessly pair your dash camera with your smartphone, providing you with instant access to your recordings directly from the camera. With the 'Wolfbox' app, which is available for free, you can easily view, download and share your videos with your friends and family from your smartphone. This app also enables you to control the WLAN built-in drive recorder directly from your mobile device."

How to connect WIFI

1. Download the "Wolfbox" app
   Please go to the following address to download the "Wolfbox" app: https://wolfbox.com/app/
   Or you can use your smart phone to scan the QR code to go to the download page.
   
2. WIFI Function on
   Turn on the WIFI. The WIFI name and WIFI password will appear on the screen.
3. Connect WIFI
   Now simply join the i17 WIFI by going into your iPhone or Android phone's Settings > WiFi > i17 WiFi. Then enter the default password: 12345678 to join the network.
4. Open the "Wolfbox" app
   Once your camera is connected to i17 WiFi successfully and when you open the "Wolfbox" app, the camera will sync automatically. You should see the live video feed from the camera on the "Wolfbox" app. Then keep exploring the app from here on.

Please choose to allow when these prompts appear.

For iPhone
If you get this pop up for your iPhone while using WiFi feature, make sure to tap on "ALLOW" or "OK"

NOTE:

• Once you connect to i17, it will come up on your phone, "No internet", which is fine. Keeping the connection and use the App normally.
  When connected to WIFI,the dash cam can only be operated by phone. Please CONTACT US if you need any help.

Check/Play data on APP
You can check and play the video by pressing on the recording screen to enter the data file list.

On the data file screen, you can select a file to play, download, take a screenshot of, or delete.
Once downloaded, you can easily share it on social media platforms like Facebook, WeChat, Line, and others. Additionally, you can select a local album to play the downloaded data and view it in conjunction with Google Maps. Please note that an internet connection is required for this feature.

FAQ about WIFI&App

What is the range of the WiFi signal?

The WiFi signal range is approximately 10 feet when there are no obstructions in the way. Please note that, just like your home WiFi network, you cannot expect the WiFi signal to extend beyond the 10-foot range from this small device.

Can I change the password?

Yes, you can set the WiFi password using the app. If you need to modify the WiFi password, please restart the dash cam and forget the original network on your mobile phone after completing the modification.

Trouble Shootings

If you encounter any issues or problems, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team at service@wolfbox.com. Most emails are typically replied to within 10 hours, and we endeavor to answer all questions within 24 hours.

Why is my dash cam not turning on? / Why is my dash cam automatically turning on and off after a period of use?
Firstly, please confirm if you are using the original accessories. If not, please try using the original accessories to check if the problem still persists. If you are already using the original accessories and still encountering issues, the problem may be caused by the accessories. You can try checking the following:

• To test whether the i17 dash cam is working normally, please unplug the TF card and GPS bracket, and use the car charger to supply power.
• If the dash cam is working normally, the problem may be with the car charger cable.
  In this case, please let us know your address so we can send you a new car charger. If the dash cam still does not work, please connect the other accessories one by one and check if the camera works normally. If there is a problem after connecting a certain accessory, please let us know as that may be the issue.

Loop recording not working?/Loop recording not functioning?/Recording stops after recording a video.
Please format the TF card first. If the issue still persists, you can try replacing the TF card. Alternatively, you can contact us directly and we will help you resolve the issue.

Why is my car battery draining while using the car charger?
Please check if your cigar power port is ACC. If the cigarette lighter is still charging after the car is turned off, please either use the hardwire kit or unplug the car charger after the car is turned off. Otherwise, it may exhaust your car's power supply. Note that this issue may occur in some Ford/Audi cars and electric cars.

Why is the GPS signal not being received?

It may be difficult to receive GPS signals in tunnels or valleys between buildings, and it may also take some time for the unit to receive GPS signals immediately after starting. Please wait for a while and check again. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Why is the camera locking many videos automatically?
Please lower the G-Sensor setting. This setting depends on how much vibration your car/truck is creating based on its suspensions and road conditions.

Why does the camera get hot?

It is normal for your camera to run slightly hot.

• Please use original accessories provided in the package, just in case of compatible issues after using the non-original. Especially use 2 or 3 in 1 cigar socket will lead to 100% insufficient current supply.
• If you use micro SD card capacity > 32GB, Please change micro SD card [Class10 (10MB/ sec) required) format to FAT 32 on PC(a 64GB card is included in the package).
• Please format micro SD card termly in case of locked videos occupied much capacity.
• Please confirm that your cigar power port is ACC.
