By briefly pressing the < or > button, it is possible to switch between the

transmitting functions.
Press the < or > button repeatedly until
→ Access Point (AP) mode is preselected.
In this case, the WIFI / LAN LED flashes fast and the AP LED lights up
permanently.
Confirm by briefly pressing the OK button.

In this case, the WIFI / LAN LED flashes slowly and the AP LED lights up
permanently.

The NEA SMART 2.0 Base is now ready for direct connection to a PC or a
tablet / smartphone.
If no buttons are pressed for a certain time, the NEA SMART 2.0 Base will
return to the initial state. In this case, the sequence for activating the trans-
mitting function can be started again.
With the transmitting function activated, the wireless LAN (WIFI) network
transmitted by the NEA SMART 2.0 Base is visible to every user – similar to
the wireless LAN network of a router. It is recommended to change the
default password during the initial set-up. If the password has been
forgotten, it can be reset to the delivery status. See chapter 06.08.02 for
details.
On the PC / tablet / smartphone

▪ open the WIFI menu and view the available networks
Note: The distance between the PC / tablet / smartphone should not
exceed approx. 5 m.
