1.4 PULZ DC TIG WELDING
Pulse welding differs from continuous (DC) welding. The basic and pulse welding current are
changed. The flow curve is shown in the following picture. Ip and Ib and their continuous time
tp and tb can be regulated according to requirements. The amplitude value of the welding
current changes periodically with a certain frequency. Select pulse mode for welding thinner
welds that require more temperature control.
Base and pulse current settings
1. Switch 13 to position »HF TIG« or »LIFT TIG«,
2. Set switch 6 to "Pulse ON",
3. Set switch 12 to "DC",
4. Use switch 8 to select the "Pulse Peak AMPS (%)" position and set the pulse current with
rotary control 9, and switch 8 to select the "Peak Time ON (%)" position and enter Use the
rotary control 9 to set the length of the pulse current wave. Use switch 8 to set the »Pulse
Frequency (Hz)« position and use rotary control 9 to select the pulse frequency length,
5. Set the current increase and current decrease by setting the switch to the "Upslope" or
"Downslope" position and using the rotary control 9 enter the corresponding value 0-10s.
1.5 AC TIG
1. Set switch 13 to "HF TIG", switch 12 to "AC", switch 6 to "off", connect the gas supply
pipe to connection 21 on the rear of the device.
2. The connection process is the same as in 1.1
3. AC Balance - Setting the cleansing effect: Select the parameter
welding curve with switch 8 and then set the desired value with key 9.

SP =
* 100%

tp: time at I2 with positive flow
Setting the AC frequency: Use switch 8 to select the parameter
and then use button 9 to set the desired value.
The welding process is the same as in 1.1
tn: time at In with negative flow
