3-8 REMOTE JACK (CI-V)
INFORMATION
The 1C-725 can be connected through a CT-17 CI-V LEVEL
CONVERTER
(optional) to a personal computer equipped
with an RS-232C port.
Icom Communication Interface - V
(CI-V) controls frequency, mode, memory channels, etc.

The
contents of a data packet can be changed by diodes D2 —
D4, D57 — D63 and D64 on the MAIN UNIT.

Baud rate is the data transfer rate. The standard Icom CI-V
baud rate is 1200 bps.

• Address
You can set an independent address for your IC-725.
The
1C-725 has the address of 28H (40) as a default value.
