    INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing a Kapture Dash Camera. Please read these instructions before attempting to install or use this product. Before attempting to use or install your Kapture KPT-1024, please ensure you have read and understood all of the safety notes below.

    BUTTON FUNCTIONS AND INDICATORS To access the menu you need to press the 'OK' button to stop recording. Symbol Instruction Press to enter the General Settings Menu. Menu / Mode Button Press and hold to enter Playback mode. In the Settings menu use the Up Up Button Button to toggle between the Settings.

    4. Insert the power cable adaptor into the Dash Camera power socket. Then insert the rear camera in the CAM port on the Dash Camera. NOTE: • It's recommended that the KPT-1024 is installed in the centre of the windscreen behind the rearview mirror.

    4.4.3 REAR CAMERA FEATURES After successfully installing and connecting the rear camera into the main Dash Camera, the rear camera will be displayed on the Dash Camera's 2.4” Screen.     RESETTING THE KPT-1024 If the Dash Camera does not function normally, try restarting the Dash Camera. To restart the Dash Camera, using a small pin, press and hold the Reset Button on the bottom side of the camera. INITIAL SETTINGS Before using the Dash Camera we recommend formatting the inserted Micro SD Card and Setting the correct Time and Date.

    SETTING THE TIME AND DATE Setting the Time and Date allows you to stamp your footage with this information as a reference. This information is particularly critical when you want to use your footage in insurance claims. Press the Menu Button to enter the Settings/Setup Menu. Press the UP and Down Key to select Date/Time.

    SCHOOL ZONE ALERT School Zone alerts will notify you before you enter a school zone. RAILWAY CROSSING ALERT Railway Crossing alerts will notify you of an upcoming rail crossing. NOTE: • You can adjust the Settings so you can choose how far your car needs to be from an alert to receive a notification from the Settings menu.

    10.0 INTERFACE 10.1 VIDEO MODE Video Mode: Number 3 shows the loop recording duration. Duration: 00:00:01 Loop Recording timer. GPS: GPS Signal Indicator. 4. G-Sensor: The highlighted bar indicates the sensitivity of the G-Sensor with 1 bar indicating low sensitivity. Parkmode: The highlighted bar indicates the sensitivity of Parkmode with 1 bar indicating low sensitivity.

    12.0 SOFTWARE PLAYBACK Your KPT-1024 with inbuilt GPS will record the GPS coordinates and the speed of your travel. To play back the GPS or recorded footage on your desktop or laptop, please follow these steps: - Download software from www.kapturecam.com.au and run it on your PC.

    13.0 DOWNLOADING THE KPT-KONNECT APP AND CONNECTING TO YOUR KPT-1024 The KPT-1024 needs to be used in combination with the KPT-KONNECT App to function correctly. All major Settings on the KPT-1024 are accessed through the KPT-KONNECT App. The system requirements for your smartphone are noted below.
