Only install NECC supplied/approved memory
module options to ensure proper functionality of your
NEC Versa notebook computer.
Contact your NECC dealer for information about
available NEC-supplied/approved memory modules.
Installing a memory module involves the following procedures.

removing the keyboard retainers
!
lifting and moving the keyboard out of the way
!
installing the SO-DIMM
!
reassembling the unit.
Before handling any internal components, discharge
static electricity from yourself and your clothing by
touching a nearby metal surface.
Use the following steps to install a memory module.
1. Make sure that the system is powered off and that no peripheral
devices are attached.
