Troubleshooting
Cause
The temperature deter-
mined is higher than
1) Forehead thermome-
ter mode: 43 °C
(109.4 °F),
2) Object temperature
mode: 100 °C
(212 °F).
The temperature deter-
mined is lower than
1) Forehead thermome-
ter mode: 34 °C
(93.2 °F),
2) Object temperature
mode: 0 °C (32 °F).
The thermometer is not
working properly.
The ambient temperature
is not between 5 °C and
40 °C (41 °F – 104 °F).
Solution
Only use the thermometer
within the temperature
ranges stated. Clean the
measurement sensor
if necessary. If the same
error message pops up
repeatedly, please
contact your specialist
dealer or customer
service.
Take out the batteries,
wait a minute, then switch
the appliance on again.
If the message appears
again then contact your
specialist dealer for
assistance.
Store the thermometer
for at least 30 minutes
in a room with a temper-
ature between 5 °C and
40 °C (41 °F – 104 °F).
