Wenn Batterien ausgelaufen sind, vermeiden Sie den Kontakt von Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten mit den Chemikalien!     Reinigen Sie Kontakte an Batterie und im Bat- teriefach vor dem Einlegen mit einem trockenen, fusselfreien Tuch oder Wattestäbchen! Entfernen Sie erschöpfte Batterien umgehend aus dem Produkt. Inbetriebnahme Die Batterien sind beim neuen Gerät bereits ein- gelegt. Ziehen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung den herausstehenden Batterieschutzstreifen aus dem Batteriefach.

    Wechseln Sie die Batterien wie folgt: Entfernen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel Entnehmen Sie ggf. die leeren Batterien aus dem Batteriefach. Setzen Sie die neuen Batterien in das Batteriefach ein, bis sie hör- und spürbar fest einrasten. Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die korrekte Polung (+/-) der Batterien. Setzen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf.

    Was Sie vor dem Messen wissen sollten Es gibt verschiedene Thermometer zur Messung an unterschiedlichen Körperstellen: - Ohr- / Stirn-Thermometer (dieses Thermometer, zur Messung im Ohr oder an der Stirnregion) - Stab-Thermometer (zur rektalen [im After], axialen [unter der Achsel] oder oralen Messung [im Mund]) Hinweis: Die Temperaturmessung liefert einen Messwert, der Auskunft über die aktuelle Körpertem- peratur eines Menschen gibt.
  • Page 20 Körpertemperatur ist bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern höher und sinkt mit zunehmendem Alter. Bei Kindern treten höhere Temperaturschwankungen schneller und häufiger auf, z. B. bedingt durch Wachstumsschübe), von der Kleidung, von der Außentemperatur, von der Tageszeit (morgens ist die Körpertemperatur niedriger und steigt im Laufe des Tages zum Abend hin an), von der vorausgegangenen körperlichen und, mit gerin- gerem Einfluss, auch mentalen Aktivität.

    Messen Hinweis: Prüfen Sie vor jeder Anwendung, ob die Linse beschädigt ist. Falls diese beschädigt ist, wenden Sie sich an die Händler- oder Serviceadresse. Berück- sichtigen Sie, dass sich das Multifunktionsthermometer mindestens 30 Minuten in dem Raum befinden muss, in dem die Messung vorgenommen wird. Stellen Sie vor jeder Messung sicher, dass Sie sich im entsprechenden Modus befinden, mit dem Sie messen möchten.

Die Anwendung des Multifunktionsthermometers an verschiedenen Personen kann bei bestimmten akuten, infektiösen Erkrankungen aufgrund einer möglichen Keimverschleppung trotz der durchzu- führenden Reinigung und Wischdesinfektion unzweckmäßig sein. Sprechen Sie dazu im Einzelfall mit Ihrem behandelnden Arzt.
