3. If you are installing a device in the right-hand file bay and you need

an audio cable, remove the audio cable from behind the left-hand

bay. The NEC Versa Dock comes with only one audio cable.

You are now ready to attach the cables to the appropriate ports on the

back of the device. (See the instructions in "Connecting IDE Device

Cables" for details. If you are installing an optional VersaBay III device,

see the instructions in "Connecting VersaBay III Adapter Kit Cables" for

details.)

Connecting IDE Device Cables

Connect the cables to the IDE device as follows.

1. Before handling any internal components, discharge static electricity

from yourself and your clothing by touching a nearby metal surface.
