Notes on handling of HDD

Hard disk drives are precision devices.
ShieldPRO has buffer materials to protect the hard disk drive, however, note the following to protect
data:
Do not apply shocks and vibrations exceeding those defined in the environmental
specification to ShieldPRO.
Ensure the hard disk drive is not subject to strong shocks when the drive is removed from
ShieldPRO.
4.6.6. Notes on handling of devices sensitive to magnetism
(including floppy disks)
A magnet to sense opening or closing of the LCD display panel is
contained at the upper left corner of the panel.
The magnet may destroy data saved in magnetic media. Do not put
devices sensitive to magnetism (including floppy disks) close to the
magnet.
