REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS

Serial Number	Function keys / Names	Function / Effect
1	Speed Switch	Adjust the speed.
2	3D Roll	Click to active the 3D roll function.
3	Light switch / One key rotation	Click to switch the light of the drone; long press for 3 seconds to enter one-key rotation, the drone rotates in the middle point, long press again to exit the function.
4	Throttle stick	Ascend / descend, turn left / right.
5	Direction stick	Forward / backward / left and right side flying.
6-7	Forward / backward trim	If the drone drift forward (backward) without any operation, press the trim button backward (forward) correspondingly, it can make the drone more stable.
8-9	Left / right Trim	If the drone drift to left (right), press right (left) trim correspondingly, make the drone stable.
10	One key avoidance	Short press this key to active the obstacle avoidance mode. The aircraft is equipped with obstacle avoidance detection head in front / back / left / right, which can detect the surrounding obstacles to prevent collision damage.
11	One key take-off / landing	Click to takeoff or landing.
12	Headless mode / One key return	Click to active Headless Mode; Long press for 3 seconds to active one key return function.
13	Power ON / OFF	Click once to power on the remote control and click again to turn off the remote control.

REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION

Remove the battery cover from the back of controller (Fig. A).
Install 3 x AAA batteries into the controller, make sure to install batteries to their correct polarity. (Fig. B). Do not mix old and new batteries or battery types.
Replace the battery cover.

CHARGE THE BATTERY

First remove the lithium battery from the drone battery compartment (Fig. C).
Disconnect the power link of the plug (Fig. D).
Connect the USB charging cable to the corresponding socket. The light turns on when charging and turns off when it is fully charged. Charging time is about 60-90 minutes (Fig. E).
Note: Please fully charge the battery before flying.
Low-battery warning: When the battery power is low, the light of drone will flash slowly. It needs to fly back immediately.

warning Attention:

Use only the original factory cable. Do not use damaged or cable of other brands.
Do not leave the battery aside when charging.
Do not overcharge the battery. When the battery is fully charged, unplug the device.
Do not charge the battery immediately after it has become hot.
Do not leave the battery in the fire in consideration of safety.
Do not short circuit the battery. Do not leave the battery together with tiny medal parts in consideration of safety.
The drone needs to take out the battery when not in use and store it at 80% to extend battery life. Keep the battery in a cool place to avoid exposure.

FLIGHT SAFETY

Please choose an empty room or outdoor environment with no rain or snow, wind less than level 4. Please stay away from people, trees, power lines, tall buildings, airports and signal towers.
warning Note: The flight time is about 8 minutes, the flight distance is up to 60 meters, and the charging time is about 60-90 minutes.

FLIGHT

Remote Control Connection
1. Install the aircraft battery and remote control battery, turn on the power switch of the aircraft, and keep the aircraft on a horizontal plane after flashing.
2. Turn on the remote control power switch, push the remote control throttle stick up and down, the light of the drone becomes steady, and the remote control is connected successfully.Note: Steps need to be followed to prevent poor handling problems.
Calibration Gyroscope
After the drone and the remote control are connected successfully, push the left and right joystick to the lower right corner. At this time, the indicator light will flashes rapidly and change to a steady light. The calibration is completed.
Note: If the drone flies unstably after takeoff, it can also be corrected by calibrating the gyroscope. The calibration should be done at the horizontal level.

Take-off / Landing
Drone needs to unlock before flying, push the left joystick up then release it. At this time, the propellers starts to spin. Push the left joystick up again or press the one key take-off / landing button, the drone will rise to a height of about 1 meter and hover.
Pull the left joystick down or press the one key take-off / landing button again and the drone will land.

Note: One button landing must land on a level surface, if not it will cause the drone to fly off course.
Operating Method
Note: When the drone is 30cm from the ground, the drone will become unstable due to the airflow below. The closer it is to the ground, the greater the impact.

Trimming Function
When the drone spins in the air or tilts in different directions, you can use trimming function to correct the action.

	If the drone moves backward while hovering, press the forward trimming button, until the drone stops moving backward.
	If the drone moves forward while hovering, press the backward trimming button, until the drone stops moving forward.
	If the drone drifts to the left while hovering, press the right sideward trimming button, until the drone stops drifting to the left.
	If the drone drifts to the right while hovering, press the left sideward trimming button, until the drone stops drifting to the right.

Obstacle Avoidance Mode
Press the obstacle avoidance button to turn on the bostacle avoidance mode, press again to turn off (Fig.5).
The obstacle avoidance mode is turned on by default at takeoff.
Avoid obstacles on four sides and when an obstacle is detected, the drone will retreat to a safe distance. When the drone turns on the obstacle avoidance mode, the fast gear cannot be turned on. Therefore, it is recommended to fly indoors when the obstacle avoidance mode in turned on.
Note: Under sunlight or bright light, glass or reflective objects, black objects, the effect of obstacle avoidance will become worse or even will fail.
Switch Speed
The obstacle avoidance mode is turned on by default at takeoff, and the speed is the lowest gear. If you need to switch the speed, you need to turn off the obstacle avoidance mode. Press the speed switch button to switch the speed, different speed gear has different beeps: "Di~" is the low speed mode, "Di~Di~" is the medium speed mode, and "Di~Di~Di" is the high speed mode.
Light Switch & One Key Rotation
Light Switch
Click the light switch / one-key rotation button, the lights of drone will automatically switch to another mode.
One Key Rotation
Long press the light switch / one-key rotation button, and the drone will rotates with itself as the midpoint.
Headless Mode & One Key Return
Headless Mode
The drone defaults to Normal Mode when the drone and remote control are matched successfully. Click the headless mode / one key return button to enter into Headless mode. Click again to exit Headless mode.
Normal Mode: The power switch of the drone indicates the backward direction.
Headless Mode: Before takeoff, the power switch of the drone indicates the backward direction. When the drone rotates in flight, the flight direction is not changed.

As shown in the above figure, when the drone rotates in flight, the flight direction is not changed in the headless mode state.
One Key Return
During the flight, the drone can be recalled using the return function.
Long press the one key return button for 3 seconds to start the return. After starting the return flight, the drone will return at the direction of the tail when it is powered on and paired.
During the process, move the direction joystick or long pess the return button for 3 seconds to cancel the return.
3D Roll
Short press 3D roll button and push the direction joystick forward, backward, left or right. The drone will roll in the air in the corresponding direction.
In order to perform the 3D roll function better, please ensure that the drone is fully charged and maintains a height of about 1.5 meters with the ground. When the battery is low, the drone cannot perform the 3D roll function or the height after rolling may be reduced. Please charge it in time.
Install the Propellers
Align the blades with the motor shaft and install them (the arm identification must be consistent with the blade identification). Tighten the screw clockwise.

Trouble Shooting

Problem	Cause	Solution
Drone does not respond to user controls	Remote is not synced to the drone. Insufficient battery power.	Refer to Flight. Recharge the battery.
The blades spin, but the drone cannot take off	Insufficient battery power. The blades distorted. The blades Side A and Side B are reversed.	Recharge the battery. Replace the blades.

Drone cannot takeoff after accident.	Four-axis acceleration sensor loses balance.	Recalibrate compass.

warning Note: The product has the function of air pressure fixing height, but does not have the effect of fixed point. The drone will move slightly at the same height when hovering in the air.

Please read all instructions and warnings carefully before operating, and keep this instruction manual for future reference and maintenance.
Never fly in or near controlled airspace and do not exceed a height of 20ft. To ensure you're operating within the law and following FAA regulations within the United States. Do not fly along airline routes, and do not fly in areas with strong radio, electromagnetic or electrostatic emissions. Do not operate the drone in any way that is prohibited by related authorites of our country. NEVER use for any illegal purpose or use beyond the scope of which your local laws and regulations have stipulated.
The TD1 drone should only be operated by individuals over 14 years of age, and is best suited for experienced UAV pilots. This is a precision device, from its electronics, mechanical components, and high-frequency transmission technology, to its aerodynamic design. Using this device requires proper calibration and potential assembly or debugging to avoid complications or accidents. The user should always operate and control this product in a safe manner. Inappropriate use can lead to serious injury, cause property damage, or can lead to the drone being lost during operation.

This remote-control aircraft can be dangerous when in use. Please make sure you keep a safe distance from people, animals, and hazardous objects, and do not fly in controlled airspace. Incorrect installations, poor weather conditions, or users unfamiliar with operation may cause damage to the aircraft, or other property or may cause injury. Pay close attention when in use and recognize unsafe or accident-prone conditions to avoid any accidents due to negligence.

Keep it far away from any structures or crowds: This remote-control aircraft may vary slightly in speed or sensitivity while flying and can cause potential danger. Therefore, please keep it far away from crowds, buildings, trees, structures, high-voltage wires, etc... Please also avoid flying in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, electrical storms, and high winds to ensure safety of the user, any spectators, and surrounding property.
Keep it away from any moist environments: The inside of the aircraft is composed of many precision electronic and mechanical parts. Therefore, please try to avoid any moisture or water content from entering the main body of the aircraft as it may cause a breakdown of the mechanical and electronic parts and thus cause an accident.
Only operate with included parts for intended use: Please use the original parts made by Contixo for any re-equipping or maintenance to ensure flying safety. Please operate and use only under the scope of the product functions permitted. Using unapproved parts will void the warranty.
Avoid controlling it independently: New users may face obstacles while learning to operate this aircraft, in this case, please try to avoid operating the aircraft alone. When available, operate this aircraft under the guidance of a more experienced user.
DO NOT operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol: Please operate this remote-control aircraft in accordance with state law and within your abilities. Do not operate in a state of fatigue, or a bad mental state. Incorrect operation may increase the probability of accidents.
Please keep a safe range from aircraft when using top speed:When the operator is flying at high speed, please keep the aircraft far away from the pilot and any surrounding people or objects so as not to cause damage or endanger others.
Store it in a cool, dry place: The remote-control aircraft is composed of various materials including: metal, fiber, plastic, electronics, etc. Therefore, please keep it away from sources of heat and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Excessive heat exposure can cause distortion and damage.

There is important information contained in this package and instruction manual, please keep it for future reference.
You have the responsibility to make sure that this model of aircraft won't cause injury to yourself, or others, and won't cause any property damage.
Please operate strictly as shown in the instruction manual when debugging or assembling this aircraft. During the process of flying or landing, please maintain a distance of 1-2 meters between the user and the aircraft to avoid collisions to the head, face, or body, which may cause injury.
Our company and distributors won't be responsible for any incorrect operation, which may cause loss, damage or bodily injury.
Children ages 14 and up should use this product under the guidance of an adult. This product is NOT to be used by children under 14 years old.
Please correctly assemble and use this product as shown in the instruction manual or packaging instructions. Some parts should be assembled by an adult.
Small parts are included with this product. Please place it beyond the reach of the children to avoid a CHOKING HAZARD or parts being mistakenly swallowed.
Stay clear of roads or high-traffic areas flying in these areas is extremely hazardous and may be illegal.
Please promptly dispose of the packing materials, so as not to cause injury to children.
Please DO NOT disassemble or modify the aircraft as it may cause a breakdown of the aircraft during flight.
Batteries in the battery compartment of the charger should be inserted into the designated power source which has the same logo as the product.
Only use charging cables provided by the manufacturer.
When charging the battery, please ensure an adult is present. Keep the battery far away from any combustible objects or materials while charging.
DO NOT short-circuit or squeeze the battery to avoid damaging the component, and to avoid potential explosion.
DO NOT mix or replace the Li-ion battery with a different type of battery.
Intelligent lithium battery is loaded in the Quad-rotor. Both built-in and external can be used for charging.
Please DO NOT cause the battery to short-circuit or decompose, keep the battery far away from fire and sources of excessive heat.
The aircraft should be kept far away from any other electrical equipment that may cause interference.
Please keep a safe distance from the high-speed rotating rotor to avoid injury of being wounded or being cut.
Components may get hot. Please DO NOT touch motors to avoid being burned or injured.
Type-C 5V wall charger recommended for charging. DO NOT use any charger stronger than 5V.
Keep your UAS within sight.
Never fly over groups of people.
Never fly over stadiums or sports events.
Understand airspace restrictions and requirements.

Product should only be used by adults and children 14 years and older. Adult supervision required for children under 14 years of age.

CHARGING OF THE AIRCRAFT BATTERY MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES BY AN ADULT. UNPLUG THE BATTERY WHEN FULLY CHARGED.
DO NOT OVER-CHARGE THE BATTERY.

EXEMPTION

When using this product, Contixo Inc. shall not be responsible for direct or indirect damages caused by the following:

Any damages caused by the user experiencing: fatigue, nausea, poor physical / mental health conditions, or under the influence of alcohol, or drugs.
Personal injury, property loss and legal liability caused by the user's subjective intention or wrong judgment.
Damage caused by users flying in flight areas prohibited by law and regulations, such as nature reserves.
Other damage caused by poor operation or modification of equipment. Training or replacement of accessories or parts not produced by Contixo Inc.
The quadrotor sends a low-pressure alarm and it still does not land, resulting in the Quadrotor falling down.
Damage caused by forced flight knowing that the quadrotor is in an abnormal state, knowing the assembly is not completed, or knowing the components have obvious faults, defects, or missing parts.
Flying in an area with radio, electrostatic, or magnetic interference, such as near: high-voltage power lines, large power equipment, radio and television transmission towers, mobile phone base stations, etc. Avoid areas restricting flight specified by the government. Ensure the user's vision is not impaired, or blocked by obstacles. Users with impaired vision should wear any prescribed eyewear. Avoid any conditions unsuitable for controlling the device.
Flight in bad weather conditions, such as rain, winds above force 4, snow, hail or other bad weather.
The quadrotor encounters a collision, overturns, combusts, gets struck by lightning, and is damaged in a storm, tornado, rainstorm, flood, tsunami, ground subsidence, ice subsidence, cliff collapse, avalanche, hail, debris flow, landslide, earthquake, or natural disaster, etc.
Damage caused by infringement of any data, audio or video data obtained from the user using the quadrotor.
Damage to the battery, such as damage caused by improper matching of the protection circuit, battery pack and charger.
Any indirect losses or legal liabilities caused by problems of equipment or accessories (including memory cards), for example, images or videos that cannot be saved.
Losses or legal liabilities caused by reckless or unsafe flight without completing sufficient flight training.
The user promises to use the product only for legitimate purposes and agrees to abide by these terms and any relevant policies or guidelines that may be formulated by Contixo Inc. Some details of this document may change with the upgrade of the product software version and its terms of use. Please read the upgrade details carefully before upgrading the software version.
