Contraindications
No clinically significant adverse reactions have
been reported to date. If you have any of the
following conditions, the product should only be
used after consultation with your physician:
• Skin disorders / injuries in the relevant part
of the body, particularly if inflammation is
present. Likewise, any raised scars with
swelling, redness and excessive heat build-up.
• Varicose veins (varicosis).
• Impaired sensation and circulatory disorders
of the legs (e. g. diabetes mellitus).
• Impaired lymph drainage – including soft
tissue swellings of uncertain origin located
away from the fitted aid.
Application instructions
Putting on the GenuPoint
The GenuPoint can be worn on the right or left
leg. Before putting it on, please loosen both
Velcro closures. Open one side completely by
pulling the end out of the tab.
Put the GenuPoint on in the center of the
kneecap with the semicircular cut-out edge at
the top
Then thread the Velcro strap back through

Taking off the GenuPoint
To take off the support, first loosen both Velcro
closures and then remove one side fully from
the guide tab. For storage, both strap ends
should be fastened again to avoid damage.
Cleaning instructions
The sewn-in label of the GenuPoint, which
contains information on the product name, size,
manufacturer, washing instructions and CE
mark, is located on the strap of the product.
Fasten both ends of the Velcro strap before
washing to avoid damage.
Wash the GenuPoint separately by hand using
a mild detergent. Never expose the product to
direct heat / cold. Also observe the instructions
on the sewn-in label on the upper edge of your
product. Regular care guarantees optimum
effectiveness of the product.
Notes on reuse
This product is intended to be fitted to one
patient only.
Warranty
The statutory regulations of the country
of purchase apply. Please first contact the
retailer from whom you obtained the product
directly in the event of a potential claim under
the warranty. The product must be cleaned
before submitting it in case of warranty claims.
Warranty may be limited or excluded if the
instructions on how to handle and care for the
GenuPoint have not been observed.
Warranty is excluded if:
• The product was not used according to the
indication
• The instructions given by the specialist were
not observed
• The product was modified arbitrarily
