Positioning the Scan Material
Positioning Reflective Materials
To scan photographs or prints, place the them face down on the scanner glass surface. Center the
top of the original along the U-shaped ruler of the scanner.
Without a TMA installed
Positioning Transparent
Materials
To scan slides, positive or negative films, place
them together with the film template on the
scanner glass surface. For detailed positioning
instructions, please refer to the scanner's user
manual.
Important: During placement of the template, align
the template's front corners firmly against the top
corners (left and right) of the U-shaped ruler located
at the front of the scanner. And, make sure that the
calibration strip on the scanner glass surface is kept
clear and free of obstruction at all times.
Using the 4" x 5" Film Template
With a TMA installed
