DECOMMISSIONING
STORAGE
Long-term storage: If you are not using the appliance for extended periods (more than a few
weeks), clean it and dry it out completely.
To store the appliance, follow these steps:
1. Turn off and unplug the appliance.
2. Drain the remaining water from the unit.
3. Clean the filter and let it dry completely in a shaded area.
4. Place the power cord in the tank.
5. Reinstall the filter in its correct position.
6. Ensure the appliance is kept upright when in storage.
7. Store the appliance in a ventilated space indoors, away from corrosive gas.
ATTENTION:
Before packing the appliance, ensure the evaporator inside the machine is dried out to
avoid component damage and mould. Unplug the appliance and place it in a dry and open
area, allowing it to dry out. You can also dry the unit by setting the humidity point to more
than 5% higher than the ambient humidity. Leave it for a few hours – the fan will dry the
evaporator.
