SEALER
• Before using this sealer, read all instructions
included with the product.
• Always lift and carry the tool by the tool handle
knob. Lifting the tool at any other point may
expose the hand to a pinch point.
• Ensure the sealer jaws are placed directly on the
seal.
• While sealing, position yourself to one side of the
tensioned strap.
WARNING! Always wear safety glasses which
conform to ANSA Standard Z87.1 or EN 166.
Position yourself to one side of the tensioned
strap while sealing. Maintain proper footing
and balance.
1.
Fully open the sealer handles and center the open
jaws on the seal. (See Figure 1)
2. Bring the sealer handles completely together to
assure a proper crimp. (See Figure 2)

• This tool is designed for use with sandpaper seals
and plastic strap only.
• A properly crimped seal will appear as shown in
the illustration. (See Figure 3) If the notched seal
does not appear as shown, inspect the tool for
worn and/or damaged parts.
• Replace tool parts as needed.
• Do not ship any loads secured with improperly
crimped seals.
3. Remove the sealer. Cut the strap end flush with the
end of the seal and inspect the seal to ensure a
proper joint has been formed. (See Figure 3)

4. To avoid contact with the sharp end of the strap,
retract strap end back into the strap dispenser.
