Tips and advice that make the work easier. |
CMB and CMB-SP Booster PM1, PM2 are compact booster sets designed for water supply in domestic and light commercial applications. The modular pump design makes it easy to make customised solutions.
The booster sets can be supplied with either Grundfos PM1 or PM2 pressure manager.
The product has been evaluated for use in indoor installations with:
Only use the product according to the specifications stated in these installation and operating instructions.
Check local regulations.
The system in which CM Booster is incorporated must be designed for the maximum pump pressure.
The default setting causes the pump not to stop until it reaches its maximum pressure.

Drinking water systems Hygiene
Grundfos pressure booster systems are functionally tested by running water through the system. During the test, Grundfos continuously surveys the quality of the test water. Since it is not possible to completely drain and dry the system after the test, the system must be rinsed or flushed thoroughly before being taken into use in a drinking water sector due to risk of bacteria growth. This also applies if the system has been shut down for a long period of time. Rinsing and flushing must always be done in accordance with local regulations.
Contaminated drinking water endangers health.
If a dry-running alarm has been activated, find the cause before the pump is restarted in order to prevent damage to the pump.
In case of a very small water consumption, the anti-cycling function may detect this as cycling and stop the pump inadvertently. If this occurs, the function can be disabled.
