G-660C & G-880C GRADALL (Crawler)
The following actions take place as the controls are
moved. These are in relation to the operator
position.
J. Tilt Counter Clockwise
K. Tilt Clockwise
Operation of the crawler travel and steer is by
joystick with the boom pointing forward. The rear
of the crawler undercarriage is the drive sprocket
end. The front is the idler sprocket end.
FORWARD & REVERSE: To move the crawler
undercarriage straight forward, push forward on the
joystick lever. Both tracks move forward. To move
straight
backwards,
backward.

Levers can be moved in any direction to obtain dual
actions. Example: By moving the boom lever
forward and to the right at the same time, the boom
will move out and the machine will swing to the
right.

SHARP TURNS: To make a sharp turn right or left,
move the joystick in the direction desired. The tracks
counter-rotate. Thus if you want to make a sharp
right turn, move the joystick to the right on a 90°
angle. The right track goes in reverse and the left
track goes forward.
GRADUAL
Iever
gradually, the joysticks can be moved anywhere
between the forward-reverse and the right and left
positions. In these positions one track stays locked
while the other rotates.
