OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
MAIN CONTROL VALVE BANKS
(Neutral Position Oil Flow)
SWING, TILT & TOOL VALVE BANK
Oil from the swing, tilt, tool pump enters the inlet
section and is mace available to any of the three
control valves. If the crawler is not being used, the oil
passes to dump. If the crawler is being used, the 4th
section end cap is pressurized and the plunger shifts,
routing the dump oil to the 3rd inlet section on the
larger valve bank. This oil is then mace available to
move the boom as needed.
SWING, TILT & TOOL VALVE BANK
HOIST, BOOM & TRAVEL VALVE BANK
(Crawler Units)
Oil from the hoist pumps is mace available to the
inlet section(l), where it can be used first by the hoist
and then by the R.H. track. Oil from the boom pumps
is mace available to the mid-inlet section (2) and is
used first by the L.H. track and then the boom. It then
passes on to the outlet section to dump. If the crawler
is being used, the oil from the swing, tilt & tool valve
bank is routed to the mid-inlet section (3) for use by
the boom control valve.
