- Page 2 Step 2 through 4 are ONLY for 2021-2024 Models. All other model years, skip to step 5. On 2021-2024 Models only. Remove trim piece (shown with arrow) by first removing 3 fasteners with 7mm socket and then carefully releasing from remaining clip fastener.
- Page 3 Main Bracket Assembly...Bolt Left Main Bracket (3) over Right Main Bracket (4) and hand tighten all three (9) Small M8 Bolts (2 on top, 1 on bottom). 13mm For 5.5ft Beds, L Bracket Assembly for 5.5ft bed... On Driver Side, bolt Left Main Bracket (3) to L Bracket (6) and bolt Right Main Bracket (4) to L Bracket (5) using 4 M8 bollts (8).
- Page 4 Assemble bracket to linkage assemby using M10 Bolts. Insert four U clips into cutouts in frame. Be careful Tighten just enough to be able to swivel assembly back not to drop U clips in frame. and forth. 15mm Set assembly in place and tighten 4 M10 bolts (10) to When assembly is secured to frame, proceed to the frame using a 15mm socket.
- Page 5 Once support bracket is secured, torque bolts to 33ft. lbs as shown below. Tighten M8 Bolts from step 2 to 25 ft lbs. 33 ft-lbs / 44 Nm 25 ft-lbs / 44 Nm 33 ft-lbs / 44 Nm 15mm 13mm Offset the step pad forward and secure using Adjust step pad to be in line with fender and torque bolts from Step 5 to 20ft-lbs.
