on the highway until you have attended a
course organized by a qualified and seri-
ous safety organization, for example the
MOTORCYCLE SAFETY FOUNDA-
TION.
LIST OF DEFECTS THAT COMPRO-
MISE SAFETY
If you think that your vehicle may have a
defect that could cause accidents or
deaths, you must immediately inform the
Department of Transportation.
If the Department of Transportation re-
ceives information about defects, it may
open an investigation to discover if there
is a group of defective vehicles. At that
point it may initiate an informational cam-
paign and recall the vehicles from the
market.
However, the Department of Transport
will not become involved in personal
problems between the consumer and the
manufacturer.

Si le ministère des Transports et de la
Sécurité reçoit des remarques sur des
défauts, il peut ouvrir une enquête pour
découvrir l'existence du groupe de véhi-
cules défectueux et décider alors de faire
une campagne d'information et de retirer
les véhicules du marché.
Le ministère des Transports et de la Sé-
curité ne peut cependant pas être impli-
qué dans des problèmes personnels,
entre le consommateur et le fabricant.
