To adjust the beam:
Remove the front handlebar cover, see p.
64 (REMOVING THE FRONT HANDLE-
BAR COVER).
CAUTION
Handle with care.
Take care not to damage the electric
wires.
NOTE
Do not completely unscrew nor re-
move the screws (1) and (2).
Loosen the screws (1) and (2).

Once the screws (1) and (2) are loose, you
may adjust the beam to the left and right as
you wish. Proceed very carefully, as follow:
To adjust the beam to the right, apply force
as shown in figure A. Push on screw (1)
and pull on screw (2).
To adjust the beam to the left, apply force
as shown in figure B. Pull on screw (1) and
push on screw (2).
CAUTION
Tighten the screws (1) and (2) with care.
When you are satisfied with the adjust-
ment, tighten the screws snugly. Do not
overtighten.

Replace the front handlebar cover, see p.
64 (REMOVING THE FRONT HAN-
DLEBAR COVER).
Make sure that the horizontal adjustment
of the headlight beam is correct.
Make sure that the vertical adjustment of
the headlight beam is correct, see p. 72
(ADJUSTING THE HEADLIGHT BEAM
VERTICALLY).
