Spark plug dismantlement

(03_07, 03_08, 03_09, 03_10)
Check the spark plug according to the in-
dications in the scheduled maintenance
table.
Remove the spark plug regularly, clean
off carbon scales, and replace it if neces-
sary.
To access the spark plug remove the in-
03_07
spection cover as follow:
Lift the saddle.
Remove the battery cover and
unscrew the two fixing screws
"2" on the central inspection
cover.
Lower the saddle.
Unscrew and remove the bot-
tom central fixing screws "2".
Slide off the central inspection
cover.
03_08 For removal and cleaning:
CAUTION
BEFORE CARRYING OUT THE FOL-
LOWING OPERATIONS AND IN OR-
DER TO AVOID BURNS, LEAVE EN-
GINE AND MUFFLER TO COOL OFF
TO AMBIENT TEMPERATURE.

Demonteren van de bougie

(03_07, 03_08, 03_09, 03_10)
Controleer de bougie op basis van de ta-
bel van het geprogrammeerd onderhoud.
Demonteer periodiek de bougie, reinig ze
van koolstofafzettingen, en vervang ze
indien nodig.
Om de bougie te bereiken, verwijdert
men het inspectiedeksel als volgt:
Hef het zadel op.
Verwijder de accubedekking en
draai de twee bevestigingsbou-
ten «2» los en verwijder ze van
het centrale inspectiedeksel.
Breng het zadel omlaag.
Draai de onderste centrale be-
vestigingsbout «2» los en ver-
wijder ze.
Verwijder het centrale inspectie-
deksel.
Voor de verwijdering en de reiniging han-
delt men als volgt:
LET OP
VOORALEER MEN DE VOLGENDE
HANDELINGEN
MEN DE MOTOR EN DE UITLAAT AF-
KOELEN TOT DEZE DE OMGEVINGS-
TEMPERATUUR HEBBEN BEREIKT,
OM MOGELIJKE BRANDWONDEN TE
VERMIJDEN.
