STARTING

Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide,
which is extremely noxious if inhaled.
Avoid starting the vehicle in closed or
badly-ventilated rooms.
The non-observance of these warnings could
cause loss of consciousness or even lead to
death by asphyxia.

The stand is provided with an automatic
recovery device.
– Before starting the engine, let the side stand up
and block at least one wheel, in order to avoid los-
ing control of the vehicle.
If this operation is carried out on uphill or downhill
roads, be particularly careful;
– turn the fuel cock to position "ON" (Fig. 22);
