The anti-theft hook (1) is positioned on one
side of the vehicle, near the passenger
footrest:
left side.
right side.
To prevent the vehicle from being stolen, it
is advisable to secure it with the aprilia
"Body-Guard" armored cable
able at any aprilia Official Dealer.
CAUTION
Do not use the hook to lift the vehicle or
for any purpose other than securing the
vehicle once it has been parked.

Insert the key (3) in the saddle lock (4).
Rotate the key (3):
anticlockwise rotation.
clockwise rotation.
Raise the saddle.
NOTE
Before lowering and locking the
(2), avail-
saddle, make sure that you have not left
the key in the crash helmet/glove compart-
ment.
To lock the saddle, lower and press it
(without exerting too much pressure),
thus making the lock snap shut.
Before leaving, make sure that the sad-
dle is properly locked.
WARNING
Thanks to the crash helmet/glove compart-
ment, you no longer have to carry the
crash helmet or other objects with you eve-
ry time you park the vehicle.
The compartment is positioned under the
saddle; to reach it:
Raise the saddle, see beside (UNLOCK-
ING / LOCKING THE SADDLE).
NOTE
The compartment can contain:
a crash helmet (5).
two "JET" helmets (5) and (6), or one
"JET" helmet and one medium-size crash
helmet, positioned as indicated in the fig-
ure.
WARNING
Do not load the crash helmet/glove
compartment too much.
Maximum allowed weight:
4 kg
5 kg
