Tool Kit; Rear Mudguard Extension - APRILIA LEONARDO 125 - 1999 Manual

The tool kit (1) is fixed under the saddle, in-
side the crash helmet/glove compartment.
To reach it:
Raise the saddle, see p. 22 (UNLOCK-
ING / LOCKING THE SADDLE).
The tool kit includes:
– 4 mm hexagon spanner;
– 16 mm spark plug socket span-
ner;
– 18 mm spark plug socket spanner;
– socket spanner rod;
– 8/10 mm socket spanner;
– double-ended, cross-/cut-headed
screwdriver;
– square pin spanner;
– tool case.
The rear mudguard extension (2) is provid-
ed as standard equipment and can be in-
stalled if the vehicle is used on wet roads,
since it reduces the reach of the water
spray caused by the rear wheel.
NOTE
The vehicle is supplied with the
rear mudguard extension (2) already in-
stalled in the countries where this is re-
quired for the homologation.
For the installation of the rear mud-
guard extension, proceed as follows:
Raise the saddle, see p. 22 (UNLOCK-
ING / LOCKING THE SADDLE).
Take the rear mudguard extension (2)
out of the crash helmet/glove compart-
ment together with the screws and rele-
vant nuts provided for the fastening.
Unscrew and remove the nuts (3).
Remove the reflector (4).
Unscrew and remove the nut (5).
Withdraw the screw (6).
Position the rear mudguard extension (2)
inside the number plate holder support
(7).
Position the reflector (4) and tighten the
relevant nuts (3).
Insert the screw (6) and tighten the rele-
vant nut (5).
Make sure that the rear mudguard exten-
sion (2) is positioned correctly.
