AT-Command Description
AT*M0 When operating over a leased line, modem will start
handshaking in originate mode. (Default)
AT*M1 When operating over a leased line, modem will start
handshaking in answer mode.
7.3

Terminating a Leased Line Connection

Disconnecting the leased line manually will only force your modem to drop the line
temporary. Later it will try to re-establish the connection again. If you want to terminate the
leased line connection, you must set the line type back to dial-up line by using the
AT&L0
command .
