Scope of delivery
- Open the packaging and carefully remove the device.
- Remove the packaging material, as well as the packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
- Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
- Check the device and accessory parts for transport damage.
- If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the warranty period.
ATTENTION
The device and the packaging are not children's toys! Do not let children play with plastic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of choking or suffocating!

Proper use
The circular table saw is used for the longitudinal and transverse cutting (only with the transverse stop) of all types of timbers and plastic, in accordance with the machine size. It is not permitted to cut any type of round timber.
The machine may only be used in the intended manner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user/operator, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages or injuries of any type resulting from this.
Only suitable saw blades (HM or CV saw blades) may be used for the machine. The use of HSS saw blades and any type of cutting wheels is prohibited.
An element of the intended use is also the observance of the safety instructions, as well as the assembly instructions and operating information in the operating manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the machine must be familiar with the manual and must be informed about potential dangers. In addition, the applicable accident prevention regulations must be strictly observed.
Other general occupational health and safety-related rules and regulations must be observed.
ATTENTION
When using equipment, several safety warnings must be observed to prevent injuries and damage.
For this reason, please carefully read this operating manual / safety instructions. Keep them in a safe place so that the information is available at all times. If the device is handed over to another person, hand over the operating and safety instructions with it. We accept no liability for accidents or damage that occur due to a failure to observe this manual and the safety instructions.
The liability of the manufacturer and resulting damages are excluded in the event of modifications of the machine.
Despite use as intended, specific risk factors cannot be entirely eliminated. Due to the design and layout of the machine, the following risks remain:
- Contact with the saw blade in the exposed sawing area.
- Reaching into the running saw blade (cutting injury)
- Kick-back of workpieces and workpiece parts
- Saw blade breakage
- Ejection of faulty carbide parts of the saw blade
- Hearing damage when the necessary hearing protection is not used.
- Harmful emissions of wood dusts during use in enclosed areas.
Please observe that our equipment was not designed with the intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes. We assume no guarantee if the equipment is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent work.

Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool.
Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
- Work area safety
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
- Electrical safety
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
- Personal safety
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
- Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
- If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
- Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
- Power tool use and care
- Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
- Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
- Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
- Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
- Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
- Service
- Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Safety instructions for the product
Guarding related warnings
- Keep guards in place. Guards must be in working order and be properly mounted. A guard that is loose, damaged, or is not functioning correctly must be repaired or replaced.
- Always use saw blade guard and riving knife for every through-cutting operation. For separating cuts where the saw blade cuts completely through the thickness of the workpiece, the protective cover and other safety devices help reduce the risk of injury.
- Immediately reattach the guarding system after completing an operation (such as rabbeting, dadoing or resawing cuts) which requires removal of the saw blade guard and/or riving knife. The guard and riving knife help to reduce the risk of injury.
- Make sure the saw blade is not contacting the guard, riving knife or the workpiece before the switch is turned on. Inadvertent contact of these items with the saw blade could cause a hazardous condition.
- Adjust the riving knife as described in this instruction manual. Incorrect spacing, positioning and alignment can make the riving knife ineffective in reducing the likelihood of kickback.
- For the riving knife to work, they must be engaged in the workpiece. The riving knife is ineffective when cutting workpieces that are too short to be engaged with the riving knife. Under these conditions a kickback cannot be prevented by the riving knife.
- Use the appropriate saw blade for the riving knife. For the riving knife to function properly, the saw blade diameter must match the appropriate riving knife and the body of the saw blade must be thinner than the thickness of the riving knife and the cutting width of the saw blade must be wider than the thickness of the riving knife.
Cutting procedures warnings

Never place your fingers or hands in the vicinity of the saw blade or in the sawing area. A moment of inattention or a slip could direct your hand towards the saw blade and result in serious personal injury. - Feed the workpiece into the saw blade or cutter only against the direction of rotation. Feeding the workpiece in the same direction that the saw blade is rotating above the table may result in the workpiece, and your hand, being pulled into the saw blade.
- Never use the mitre gauge to feed the workpiece when ripping and do not use the rip fence as a length stop when cross cutting with the mitre gauge. Guiding the workpiece with the rip fence and the mitre gauge at the same time increases the likelihood of saw blade binding and kickback.
- When ripping, always apply the workpiece feeding force between the fence and the saw blade. Use a push stick when the distance between the fence and the saw blade is less than 150 mm, and use a push block when this distance is less than 50 mm. "Work helping" devices will keep your hand at a safe distance from the saw blade.
- Use only the push stick provided by the manufacturer or constructed in accordance with the instructions. This push stick provides sufficient distance of the hand from the saw blade.
- Never use a damaged or cut push stick. A damaged push stick may break causing your hand to slip into the saw blade.
- Do not perform any operation "freehand". Always use either the rip fence or the mitre gauge to position and guide the workpiece. "Freehand" means using your hands to support or guide the workpiece, in lieu of a rip fence or mitre gauge. Freehand sawing leads to misalignment, binding and kickback.
- Never reach around or over a rotating saw blade. Reaching for a workpiece may lead to accidental contact with the moving saw blade.
- Provide auxiliary workpiece support to the rear and/or sides of the saw table for long and/ or wide workpieces to keep them level. A long and/or wide workpiece has a tendency to pivot on the table's edge, causing loss of control, saw blade binding and kickback.
- Feed workpiece at an even pace. Do not bend or twist the workpiece. If jamming occurs, turn the tool off immediately, unplug the tool then clear the jam. Jamming the saw blade by the workpiece can cause kickback or stall the motor.
- Do not remove pieces of cut-off material while the saw is running. The material may become trapped between the fence or inside the saw blade guard and the saw blade pulling your fingers into the saw blade. Turn the saw off and wait until the saw blade stops before removing material.
- Use an auxiliary fence in contact with the table top when ripping workpieces less than 2 mm thick. A thin workpiece may wedge under the rip fence and create a kickback.
Kickback - causes and corresponding
Safety information
Kickback is a sudden reaction of the workpiece due to a pinched, jammed saw blade or misaligned line of cut in the workpiece with respect to the saw blade or when a part of the workpiece binds between the saw blade and the rip fence or other fixed object.
Most frequently during kickback, the workpiece is lifted from the table by the rear portion of the saw blade and is propelled towards the operator. Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or conditions. And can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below.
- Never stand directly in line with the saw blade. Always position your body on the same side of the saw blade as the fence. Kickback may propel the workpiece at high velocity towards anyone standing in front and in line with the saw blade.
- Never reach over or in back of the saw blade to pull or to support the workpiece. Accidental contact with the saw blade may occur or kickback may drag your fingers into the saw blade.
- Never hold and press the workpiece that is being cut off against the rotating saw blade. Pressing the workpiece being cut off against the saw blade will create a binding condition and kickback.
- Align the fence to be parallel with the saw blade. A misaligned fence will pinch the workpiece against the saw blade and create kickback.
- Use a featherboard to guide the workpiece against the table and fence when making nonthrough cuts such as rabbeting, dadoing or resawing cuts. A featherboard helps to control the workpiece in the event of a kickback.
- Use extra caution when making a cut into blind areas of assembled workpieces. The protruding saw blade may cut objects that can cause kickback.
- Support large panels to minimise the risk of saw blade pinching and kickback. Large panels tend to sag under their own weight. Support(s) must be placed under all portions of the panel overhanging the table top.
- Use extra caution when cutting a workpiece that is twisted, knotted, warped or does not have a straight edge to guide it with a mitre gauge or along the fence. A warped, knotted, or twisted workpiece is unstable and causes misalignment of the kerf with the saw blade, binding and kickback.
- Never cut more than one workpiece, stacked vertically or horizontally. The saw blade could pick up one or more pieces and cause kickback.
- When restarting the saw with the saw blade in the workpiece, centre the saw blade in the kerf so that the saw teeth are not engaged in the material. If the saw blade binds, it may lift up the workpiece and cause kickback when the saw is restarted.
- Keep saw blades clean, sharp, and with sufficient set. Never use warped saw blades or saw blades with cracked or broken teeth. Sharp and properly set saw blades minimise binding, stalling and kickback.
Safety instructions for the operation of circular table saws
- Turn off the table saw and disconnect the power cord when removing the table insert, changing the saw blade or making adjustments to the riving knife or saw blade guard, and when the machine is left unattended. Precautionary measures will avoid accidents.
- Never leave the table saw running unattended. Turn it off and don't leave the tool until it comes to a complete stop. An unattended running saw is an uncontrolled hazard.
- Locate the table saw in a well-lit and level area where you can maintain good footing and balance. It should be installed in an area that provides enough room to easily handle the size of your workpiece. Cramped, dark areas, and uneven slippery floors invite accidents.
- Frequently clean and remove sawdust from under the saw table and/or the dust collection device. Accumulated sawdust is combustible and may self-ignite.
- The table saw must be secured. A table saw that is not properly secured may move or tip over.
- Remove tools, wood scraps, etc. from the table before the table saw is turned on. Distraction or a potential jam can be dangerous.
- Always use saw blades with correct size and shape (diamond versus round) of arbour holes. Saw blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will run off-centre, causing loss of control.
- Never use damaged or incorrect saw blade mounting means such as flanges, saw blade washers, bolts or nuts. This saw blade mounting material has been specially designed for your saw, for safe operation and optimum performance.
- Never stand on the table saw, do not use it as a stepping stool. Serious injury could occur if the tool is tipped or if the cutting tool is accidentally contacted.
- Make sure that the saw blade is installed to rotate in the proper direction. Do not use grinding wheels, wire brushes, or abrasive wheels on a table saw. Improper saw blade installation or use of accessories not recommended may cause serious injury.
Safety instructions for the handling of saw blades
- Only use insertion tools if you have mastered their use.
- Observe the maximum speed. The maximum speed specified on the insertion tool may not be exceeded. If specified, observe the speed range.
- Observe the motor / saw blade direction of rotation.
- Do not use any insertion tools with cracks. Sort out cracked insertion tools. Repairs are not permitted.
- Clean dirt, grease, oil and water off of the clamping surfaces.
- Do not use any loose reducing rings or bushes to reduce holes on circular saw blades.
- Make sure that fixed reducer rings for securing the insertion tool have the same diameter and have at least 1/3 of the cutting diameter.
- Make sure that fixed reducer rings are parallel to each other.
- Handle insertion tools with caution. They are ideally stored in the originally package or special containers. Wear protective gloves in order to improve grip and to further reduce the risk of injury.
- Prior to the use of insertion tools, make sure that all protective devices are properly fastened.
- Prior to use, make sure that the insertion tool meets the technical requirements of this electric tool and is properly fastened.
- Only use the supplied saw blade for cutting wood, never for the processing of metals.
- Use the correct saw blade for the material to be processed.
- Use only a saw blade with a diameter that matches the specifications on the saw.
- Use only saw blades that are marked with an equal or higher rotational speed than that marked on the power tool.
- Use only saw blades recommended by the manufacturer which conform to EN 847-1, if intended for cutting wood or similar materials.
- Wear suitable personal protective equipment, such as:
- Hearing protection;
- Protective gloves when handling saw blades.
- Only use saw blades recommended by the manufacturer which conform to EN 847-1.

When changing the saw blade, ensure that the cutting width is not smaller and the width of the saw blade disc is not greater than the thickness of the riving knife!
- When sawing wood and plastics, avoid the saw teeth overheating. Reduce the feed speed in order to avoid the plastic melting.
- Please note that complex non-through cutting operations and tapered cuts are not permitted.
- Avoid bevel ripping on bevelling side of the saw blade.
Residual risks
The electric tool has been built according to stateof-the-art and the recognised technical safety rules. However, individual residual risks can arise during operation.
- Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use of improper electrical connection cables.
- Furthermore, despite all precautions having been met, some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.
- Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety instructions" and the "Proper use" are observed along with the whole of the operating instructions.
- Do not unnecessary stress the machine: too much pressure when sawing will damage the saw blade quickly. This results in reduced output of the machine in the processing and in cut precision.
- Avoid accidental starting of the machine: the operating button may not be pressed when inserting the plug in an outlet.
- Use the tool that is recommended in this manual. In doing so, your saw provides optimal performance.
- Keep your hands away from the work area, when the machine is in operation.
- Before maintaining or adjusting, switch off the machine and unplug the power plug.

Wear hearing protection.
Excessive noise can result in a loss of hearing. Total vibration values (vector sum of three directions) determined according to EN 62841.
- The specified noise emission values have been measured in accordance with a standardised test procedure and can be used to compare one power tool with another.
- The specified noise emission values can also be used for an initial estimation of the exposure.

The noise emission values can vary from the specified values during the actual use of the power tool, depending on the type and the manner in which the power tool is used, and in particular the type of workpiece being processed.. - Implement measures to protect against noise nuisance. In doing so, take into account the complete working process, including the times when the power tool is working without load or switched off. Suitable measures include regular maintenance and care of the power tool and the insertion tools, regular breaks as well as proper planning of the working process.
Before commissioning
- The machine must be securely installed, i.e. bolted down on a workbench, machine stand or similar. Use the holes in the machine frame for this.
- Prior to commissioning, all covers and safety devices must be mounted correctly.
- It must be possible for the saw blade to run freely.
- In case of previously machined wood, be aware of any foreign objects, such as nails or screws, etc.
- Before pressing the on/off switch, make sure that the saw blade is correctly fitted, and that moving parts run smoothly.
- Before connecting the machine, make certain that the data on the type plate matches with the mains power data.
- Only connect the machine to a correctly installed protective contact socket, with fuse protection of at least 16A.
Attachment and operation
Attention! Remove the mains plug before any maintenance, modification and assembly work on the circular saw.
Place all supplied parts on a flat surface. Group equal parts.
Note: If connections are secured with a screw (round head/or hexagon), hexagonal nuts and washer, the washer must be placed under the nut.
Insert screws each from outside to inside. Secure connections with nuts on the inside.
Note: During assembly, tighten the nuts and bolts only to the extent that they cannot fall off.
If you tighten the nuts and screws fully before final assembly, it is not possible to complete the assembly.
Fitting the frame
- Screw the four legs (17) to the centre struts (20+21) using the screws (g) and nuts (h).
Attention!
The top struts have an elongated hole for fastening to the table!
- Now screw the lower struts (18+19) loosely to the legs using the screws (g) and nuts (h) (Fig. 5).

- Now plug the rubber feet (22) onto the legs (Fig. 6).

- Now mount the complete saw to the machine stand by screwing the hexagonal bolts (j) and the nuts (i) to the corners. (Fig. 7)

- Afterwards, tighten all screws and nuts on the machine stand.
Fitting the hand wheel

- Fit the washer (e) on the screw (a).
- Fit the screw on the handle (b) and then the washer (c) on the screw.
- Mount the whole assembly to the hand wheel (8) and secure it with the hexagonal nut (d)
Replacing the table inlay

- In the event of wear or damage, the table inlay (6) must be replaced; otherwise there is an increased risk of wear.
- Remove both screws for the table inlay (6.1) using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Remove the worn table inlay (6).
- Installation of the new table inlay (6) takes place in reverse order.
Adjusting the riving knife
Attention!
Pull out the mains plug! The setting of the riving knife (4) must be checked every time before commissioning.
- Set the saw blade (5) to the max. cutting depth, move to the 0° position and lock in place.
- Remove the table inlay (6) (Fig. 9)
Attention! For shipping reasons, the riving knife (4) has been mounted in the bottom position before the initial commissioning. The machine may only be used when the riving knife (4) is in the top position. Mount the riving knife (4) in the top position as follows:
- Loosen the locking lever (23) and bring the riving knife (4) into the top position (Fig. 10)

- The distance between the saw blade (5) and the riving knife (4) should be max. 5 mm. (Fig. 11)

- Tighten the locking lever (23) again and fit the table inlay (6)
Fitting the blade guard

- Place the saw blade guard (2) on the riving knife (4) from above, so that the screw (24) sits firmly in the elongated hole of the riving knife (4).
Attention: To put the saw blade guard (2) on the riving knife (4), the quick locking button (A) must be pressed. - Do not over-tighten the screw (24); The saw blade guard (2) must remain free to move.
- Attach the suction hose (3) to the suction adapter on the back of the machine and the suction port of the saw blade guard (2).
- Disassembly takes place in reverse order.
Attention!
Before starting sawing, the saw blade guard (2) must be lowered onto the workpiece.
Mounting/changing the blade
- Attention! Pull out the mains plug and wear protective gloves.
- Remove the saw blade guard (2) (Fig. 12)
- Remove the table inlay (6) (Fig. 9)
- Loosen the nut by applying the open-ended spanner (f) to the nut and hold it in place with another open-ended spanner (f) on the flange (Fig. 13).
Attention! Turn the nut in the direction of rotation of the saw blade.
- Take off the outer flange and pull the old saw blade down and off the inner flange at an angle.
- Clean the saw blade flange carefully with a wire brush before installing the new saw blade.
- Insert the new saw blade in the reverse sequence and tighten.
Attention! Observe the running direction, the cutting angle of the teeth must point in the running direction, i.e. forwards - Fit and set the table inlay (6) and the saw blade guard (2) again.
- Before working with the saw again, check that the protective devices are functioning properly. Lift the saw blade guard and then release it. The saw blade guard should automatically move back to its starting position.
Operation
Switching on/off

- It is possible to switch the saw on by pressing the green "I" button (11). Before starting sawing, wait until the saw blade has reached its maximum speed.
- In order to switch the saw off again, it is necessary to press the red "0" button (11).
Adjusting the cutting depth

The saw blade can be (continuously) adjusted to the required cutting depth by turning the hand wheel for the height adjustment (8)
- Counterclockwise: Greater cutting depth
- Clockwise: Smaller cutting depth Check the setting with a test cut.
Angle setting

Angled cuts of 0°-45° to the left of the stop rail can be carried out with the circular table saw.
Before making every cut, check that no collision can occur between the stop rail, transverse stop and the saw blade.
- Loosen the adjustment and locking handle (9)
- Set the desired angle on the scale by pushing in and turning the hand wheel (8).
- Lock the adjustment and locking handle (9) at the desired angle setting.

- The stop rail (25) of the parallel stop (7) has two guide surfaces at different heights.
- Depending on the thickness of the material to be cut, the higher side of the stop rail (25) must be used for thick material (workpiece thickness exceeding 25 mm) and the lower side of the stop rail for thin material (workpiece thickness below 25 mm).
- Undo the screws (A) on the side of the parallel stop (7) and slide the stop rail (25) to the guide depending on the desired position.

- Fit the parallel stop (7) by positioning it at the back and fixing the clamping lever (29) in place downwards.
- When dismantling, pull the clamping lever upwards and remove the parallel stop (7).
- The clamping force of the parallel stop can be adjusted at the rear knurled nut (B).

- The parallel stop (7) must be used when cutting sections of wood lengthways.
- Place the parallel stop (7) on the guide rail (12) to the left or right of the saw blade
- 2 scales (27/28) are printed on the guide rail for the parallel stop (12), which show the distance between the stop rail (25) and saw blade (5).
- Set the parallel stop (7) to the desired dimension on the sight glass (26) and use the clamping lever for the parallel stop (29) to fix in place.
- Make sure when mounting or when installing the parallel stop that it should be aligned parallel to the the saw blade.

- Always use the table width extension (14) with particularly wide workpieces.
- Loosen the clamping lever (33) and pull the table width extension out far enough so that the workpiece to be sawn can lie on it without tipping.
Transverse stop

- Slide the transverse stop (13) in a groove (30 a/b) of the saw table.
- Loosen the clamping handle (31).
- Turn the transverse stop (13) until the desired angle has been set. The scale (32) indicates the set angle. (0° - 60°)
- Retighten the clamping handle (31).

Working instructions
After every new setting, we recommend performing a test cut, in order to check the dimensional settings.
Wait after the saw has been switched on, until the saw blade has reached full speed, before starting the cutting process.
Secure long workpieces against tipping at the end of the cutting process (e.g. with roller stand, etc.) Be careful when cutting.
Only operate the device with an extraction system. Check and clean the extraction channels at regular intervals.

Here, a workpiece is cut in its longitudinal direction. Hold the edge of the workpiece against the parallel stop (7), whilst the flat side lies on the saw table (1).
The saw blade guard (2) must always be lowered onto the workpiece.
The working position for the longitudinal cut must never be in line with the cutting process.
- Adjust the parallel stop (7) according to the height of the workpiece and the desired width. (see "Working with the parallel stop")
- Switch on the saw.
- Place your hands flat on the workpiece with your fingers closed and slide the workpiece along the parallel stop (7) into the saw blade (5).
- Guide laterally with the left or right hand (depending on the position of the parallel stop) only up to the front edge of the saw blade guard (2).
- Always push the workpiece through to the end of the riving knife (4).
- The cutting waste remains on the saw table (1) until the saw blade (5) has completely stopped.
- Secure long workpieces against tipping at the end of the cutting process! (e.g. roller stand, etc.)

Cutting narrower workpieces, (Fig. 21)
Longitudinal cuts of workpieces with a width of less than 120 mm must always be made with the aid of a push stick (16). Push stick is included in the scope of delivery. Replace a worn or damaged push stick immediately.
- Set the parallel stop to suit the intended workpiece width. (see "Working with the parallel stop")
- Push the workpiece forward with both hands, and be sure to use a push stick (16) as a pushing aid in the area of the saw blade.
- Always push the workpiece through to the end of the riving knife.
Attention! For short workpieces, use the push stick as soon as you start cutting.

- Push the transverse stop (13) into one of the two grooves (30 a/b) of the saw table and set it to the required angle (see "Transverse stop"). If the saw blade (5) is also to be set at an angle, use the groove (30a) that prevents your hand and the transverse stop coming into contact with the saw blade guard.
- Press the workpiece against the transverse stop (13).
- Switch on the saw.
- Push the transverse stop (13) and workpiece towards the saw blade to carry out the cut.
Attention: Always hold the guided workpiece, never the free workpiece that is being cut. - Always push the transverse stop (13) until the workpiece has been fully cut through.
- Switch off the saw again. Only remove saw waste when the saw blade has come to a standstill.

Angled cuts are always made using the parallel stop (7).

- Adjust the saw blade (5) to the desired angle. (see "Angle setting")
- Adjust the parallel stop (7) depending on the width and height of the workpiece (see "Working with the parallel stop")
- Carry out the cut according to the width of the workpiece (see "Performing longitudinal cuts")
Cutting of chipboard
To prevent the cutting edges from breaking when cutting chipboard, the saw blade (5) must not be set higher than 5 mm above the thickness of the workpiece (see "Adjusting the cutting depth").
Transport
- Always switch off the power tool before transport and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Always carry the electric tool with at least one other person. Use the gripping surfaces on the side of the saw table to do this.
- Protect the electrical tool from impacts, shocks and severe vibrations, e.g. during vehicular transport.
- Secure the power tool against toppling and slipping.
- Never use protective devices for handling or transport.

Transport without machine stand (Fig. 24)
- Pull the table width extension (14) out.
- Tilt the machine on the wheels (34)
- Hold the machine by the table width extension handle (14) and pull it behind you.
Maintenance

Pull out the mains plug before carrying out any adjustments, maintenance or repair work!
General maintenance tasks
- Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the device clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with compressed air at low pressure.
- We recommend that you clean the device directly after every use.
- Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they could attack the plastic parts of the device. Make sure that no water can penetrate the device interior.
- Oil the rotating parts once monthly to extend the life of the tool. Do not oil the motor.
- Clean dust collection systems by purging with compressed air.
Carbon brushes
If excessive sparks are generated, have an electrician check the carbon brushes. Attention! The carbon brushes must only be replaced by an electrician.

Storage

Stowing of the saw blade guard (2):
To store the saw blade guard (2), hang it up on the bow (B) provided beneath the table width extension (14). (Fig. 25)
Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place that is inaccessible to children. The optimum storage temperature lies between 5 and 30 ˚C.
Store the power tool in its original packaging.
Cover the electric tool to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the power tool.
Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and ready for operation. The connection complies with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions. The customer's mains connection as well as the extension cable used must also comply with these regulations.
- The product fulfils the requirements of EN 61000-311 and may only be used at the following connection points: This means that use of the product at any freely selectable connection points is not allowed.
- Given unfavourable conditions in the power supply the product can cause the voltage to fluctuate temporarily.
- The product is intended solely for use at connection points that
- do not exceed a maximum permissible mains impedance "Z" (Zmax. = 0.325 Ω), or
- have a mains constant current carrying capacity of at least 100 A per phase.
- As the user, you are required to ensure, in consultation with your electric power company if necessary, that the connection point at which you wish to operate the product meets one of the two requirements, a) or b), named above.

In the event of overloading, the motor will switch itself off. After a cool-down period (time varies) the motor can be switched back on again.
Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is often damaged.
This may have the following causes:
- Pressure points, where connection cables are passed through windows or doors.
- Kinks where the connection cable has been improperly fastened or routed.
- Places where the connection cables have been cut due to being driven over.
- Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall outlet.
- Cracks due to the insulation ageing.
Such damaged electrical connection cables must not be used and are life-threatening due to the insulation damage.
Check the electrical connection cables for damage regularly. Ensure that the connection cables are disconnected from electrical power when checking for damage.
Electrical connection cables must comply with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions. Only use connection cables with designation H05VV-F.
If the power cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid dangers.
The printing of the type designation on the connection cable is mandatory.
AC motor
- The mains voltage must be 220 - 240 V~.
- Extension cables up to 25 m long must have a cross-section of 1.5 square millimetres.
Connections and repair work on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by electricians.
Please provide the following information in the event of any enquiries:
- Type of current for the motor
- Data of machine type plate
- Motor data - type plate
overload protection (Fig. 7)
- This electric tool is equipped with overload protection. If the overload protection has triggered, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the electric tool from the power supply.
- Allow the electric tool to cool down.
- Check the electric tool for any damage. Have any damage repaired before commissioning again.
- Connect the electric tool to the power supply.
- Press the overload switch (k).
- Switch on the electric tool as described and put it into operation.
Connection type Y
If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid dangers.
