Dehumidifier
The Material Station contains a dehumidifier that enables a controlled relative humidity for all material spools.
The relative humidity inside the Material Station is kept under 15% in all conditions. The dehumidifier is self-
regenerating.
If there is a problem with the humidity control, the printer will show an error message (ER67 or ER68).
To replace the dehumidifier, the Material Station must be taken out of the printer. This can be done partially
(for example, when a repair is performed on-site) or if the Material Station is fully removed from the printer (for
example, when repairing a module for refurbishment).
Note: This guide describes replacing the dehumidifier with the Material Station removed from the printer.

Notes
• This process describes how to replace the dehumidifier on the Material Station module. First follow the
instructions on removing the Material Station from the printer, see the Material Station guide.
• To replace the dehumidifier without completely removing the Material Station, it still needs to be moved out
partially at the back. Follow the instructions in the guide on how to remove the Material Station, but only slide
it out until you can reach the exhaust screw from the top. Ensure you have sufficient space to work safely and
comfortably behind the machine.
• When working with the Material Station module, prepare a suitable workspace. The surface must be flat,
stable, and at least 550 x 300 mm.
