Before lifting the unit, ensure that the straps or chains are secured correctly to the shackles, which are
mounted on the lifting eye, and that the lifting equipment is in good condition. Also, ensure that the lifting
capacity of the crane and the loading capacity of chains, straps, lifting eyes, and shackles correspond to
the total weight of the unit as a minimum.
•
When lifting the unit, use the lifting devices on the base frame. See Fig 2.
•
It is recommended to use a yoke; this protects the components and the insulation.
•
Do not lift the unit in the lifting devices on the compressor block and motor.
