Delete the define logical disks and array Deleting an existing logical disk or disk array could lead to loss of data. DO NOT attempt to perform any deletion before backing up all the data in the disks. 1. To delete an array, press 3 in the Main Menu to enter the “Delete LD” window. Then select the array you wish to delete and press the Delete key or the “Alt + D“ keys. The “View LD Definition Menu” will show up and display which disks are assigned to the selected array. Press “Ctrl - Y” to confirm deleting the array or press other keys to abort. 3. After deleting the array of disks, it will return to “Delete LD” windows. Press Esc to return to Main Menu.

When Windows Setup correctly recognizes the RAID driver in the floppy disk, a menu similar to below will show. Select “AMD AHCI Compatible RAID Controller-x86 platform” for Windows XP 32-bit version while Select “AMD AHCI Compatible RAID Controller- x64 platform” for Windows XP 64-bit version. Then, press Enter. Press Enter to continue the RAID driver installation from the floppy disk. The driver instal- lation will be finished in a few moments and then the below screen will be shown. After the RAID driver installation is finish, press Enter to continue the other steps of Windows XP installation.
