The Viator connects to your computer over the air using Bluetooth wireless technology. No additional Pepperl+Fuchs hardware is required for the PC. There are no Pepperl+Fuchs-spe- cific drivers or software required to use this product. All communications are handled through the Bluetooth serial port profile.

Viator Bluetooth® HART Interface Establishing Communication Bluetooth® Radio This product contains a Class 2 Bluetooth® radio module operating in the 2.4 GHz (ISM) band utilizing a frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) scheme. The radio module has a range of up to 20 m. The operating range can be reduced by interference from other nearby devices transmitting in the 2.4-GHz ISM band.
