All heat generating components are thermally conducted to the heatsink in order to avoid hot spots. Below images illustrate how to install the thermal solution on CEM710 There is a protective plastic covering on the thermal pads. This must be removed before the heatsink can be mounted.
Type 7 Module Switch Settings Properly configure switch settings on the CEM710 to meet your application purpose. Below you can find a summary table of switch and onboard default setting. Once the default switch setting needs to be changed, please do it under power-off condition.
CEM710 COM Express Type 7 Module Connector Signals go to the other parts of the system through connectors. Loose or improper connection might cause problems, please make sure all connectors are properly and firmly connected. Here is a summary table which shows connectors on the hardware.
