  • Page 2 The first step will be to remove the factory skid plate. You will need to use a 13mm socket to remove the 7 bolts holding the plate. Next you will need to remove the trim plate. There is 1 snap fastener on each side of the frame rail to pop off with a flat blade screwdriver.
  • Page 3 Remove the 5 bolts holding on the block off plate by using a T-45 Torx Bit. Hold on to the plate before removing the last bolt so it does not fall and become damaged. Next you will remove the bumper. To do this you will need to remove 8 bolts (4 on each side) with an 18mm socket.
  • Page 4 Assemble the winch plate. Take the bolts in the kit provided and bolt the winch plate to the empty hole along side the frame rail. There will be 2 empty holes, make sure you bolt the winch plate to the bottom hole. It will be easier for you to place the bolt through the hole and then let the winch plate hang as you steer the nut onto the bolt.
  • Page 5 Next, remove the plastic blockoff plate on the factory steel bumper by pushing on the 6 clips holding the plate to the bumper as shown in picture A. Take the bracket that we provide and hold it on the outside of the bumper as shown in picture C. Bolt the bracket to the bumper with the button head hardware (4 bolts) provided in the kit as shown in picture D.
  • Page 6 After you install the bracket in step 7, bolt the winch fairlead to the bracket using the nuts provided in the kit. Then tighten all 6 bolts using a 9/16 socket and a 7/32 Allen Wrench. Note: If the frame horn sticks out further than our bracket you may have to trim the frame horn to the edge of our bracket.
  • Page 7 Next, tighten the bumper using the factory hardware. To tighten the inside bolts you may have to use an extension. Use a 5/8 socket to tighten the bolts we used earlier to hold the winch plate in place as shown in picture C and D.
  • Page 8 After the bumper is tight, remove the jack as shown in picture A. Then, connect the factory fog light harness that we disconected earlier in the installation as shown in picture B. Finally, reinstall the factory skid plate. Hand tighten the bolts and then go back and tighten them down with a 13mm socket.
