Secure the bike on a stand.
Remove the side covers and remove the
seat.
Remove the fuel tank.
Locate the ignition coil terminals under
the fuel tank.

- Page 2 QuickShifter easy Supplementary Manual Yamaha XVS950C 2017-2020 (iQSE-1 + QSH-P2T) Splice the QSH White wire to the Orange wire of the coil by using the supplied red wire tap connector. Take off the Red/Black terminal from the coil. Connect the Red/Black terminal to the QSH Red wire terminal.

Use the supplied washers at both sides of the sensor. Tighten the nut by hand fully and then by a 1/4 turn using a wrench but maximum to about 6 Nm.) Typical position for the QuickShifter easy.
