TROUBLESHOOTING

Under certain conditions, performance of this unit may be adversely affected by factors other than
defects. If a problem occurs, please review the following list and take remedial action as needed. If you
cannot solve the problem after checking the entire list, please contact your local dealer for assistance.
PROBLEM
1.Incomplete binocular
vision.
2.Dirt is visible in field of
view
3.The visibility of the
image is poor.
4. Specimen image blurs
when zoom magnification
is changed.
5.Coarse focus
adjustment knobs rotate
with too much resistance.
6.Zoom microscope body
drops or specimen goes
out of focus during
observation.

is not correctly
adjusted.
Diopter adjustment is
incomplete.
Dirt on specimen
Dirt on eyepiece
Dust on objective front
lens.
Diopter ring is not
correctly adjusted.
Not in complete focus

Tension adjustment
ring is too tight.
Tension adjustment
ring is too loose.

Adjust it correctly
Complete diopter
adjustment
Clean specimen
Clean eyepiece
Clean lens surface
Adjust it correctly.
Focus specimen
correctly at a high
magnification.
Loosen it properly.
Tighten it properly.
