Use a flat-blade
screwdriver or a
1/4-inch
nutdriver
to
remove the five cover
mounting screws, as shown
in
the figure
below, by
turning
them counterclockwise.
Save the
screws
for
refastening
the cover.

From the rear of the system unit, look to
see if there is a card in
slot
2.
•
If
slot

is empty, go to Step
11

page 8.

If the card in slot 2 has an S on the
retaining bracket, (indicating that it is
a Programmed Symbols (PS) Adapter
card), go to Step 18 on page
12.
•
If any other is in
slot
2,
move it to
another location and go to Step
11
on
